RTC will provide funding in the amount of $50,000 for costs associated with this project. Clark County is not obligated to pay any of the project costs.

 

BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the ITS Data Analytics - Arterial Performance Dashboard project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2026.

The project scope consists of the maintenance and update of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Data Analytics - Arterial Performance Dashboard that was initiated in late 2022. The platform summarizes roadway performance such as travel speeds and travel times on Southern Nevada arterials with notation of the latest signal retiming efforts. The time of performance is effective until June 30, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3252 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on February 12, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
