BACKGROUND:
The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has provided funding for the State Route 163 at Casino Drive project. On October 9, 2008, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the subject project. Supplemental No. 1 dated December 11, 2008, increased design engineering, right-of-way, and environmental mitigation funds. Supplemental No. 2 dated December 8, 2011, increased design engineering, right-of-way and environmental mitigation funds and extended the completion date. Supplemental No. 3 dated June 9, 2016, extended the term of the contract. Supplemental No. 4 dated June 14, 2018, extended the project completion date. Supplemental No. 5 dated March 14, 2019, increased total funds for design. Supplemental No. 6 dated March 11, 2021 increased total funds for design engineering and extended the term of the contract.
The attached Supplemental No. 7 to the interlocal contract increases design funding for additional engineering services to finalize design for the sediment basin and channel. The time of performance remains effective to June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.
RFCD approved the seventh supplemental contract at its meeting on July 13, 2023.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the seventh supplemental contract as to form.
