BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607195-24, for Pyle Avenue and Pollock Drive, Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive, Starr Avenue and Gilespie Street, and Gilespie Street and Pebble Road - Traffic Signal Improvements was advertised on December 23, 2024 and opened on January 15, 2025. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction of Pyle Avenue and Pollock Drive, Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive, Starr Avenue and Gilespie Street, and Gilespie Street and Pebble Road - Traffic Signal Improvements. The improvements generally consist of hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement and/or rehabilitation of existing asphalt pavement, ADA upgrades, traffic signal modifications, upgrade lighting to LED, traffic control devices, pavement markings, median island installation/modifications, ITS infrastructure installation, vertical relocation of surface utilities, relocation of required utilities and other miscellaneous improvements along the proposed project limits.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Unicon, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
