BACKGROUND:
Extreme Networks, Inc. (Company) currently provides the network hardware and software used to operate and maintain the Department of Aviation’s (DOA) computer networks. All airport systems that rely on automation and computer processing operate on these data networks. These networks accommodate all airline passenger processing, baggage handling, flight information systems, and all airport security systems and devices, such as the card access control and video surveillance systems.
The term of the contract is for five (5) years from the date of award, and would allow Company to continue to provide hardware, software, maintenance and support services to the DOA.
In accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b),(g),(h),(i), the competitive bidding process is not required because the services to be performed are professional in nature, involve hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers, software for computers, and maintenance and support of software for computers.
This Contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Company holds a Clark County Business License.
