BACKGROUND:

The owners of 3160 Belcastro St., Las Vegas, Nevada, contest short-term rental fines issued to them and wish to settle the outstanding fines issued by Clark County Code Enforcement.  The settlement agreement includes the following terms:  (1) the property owners will pay Clark County $25,708.38;  (2) Clark County will release the issued citations and fees totaling $67,475.00 and;  (3) the parties release each other from all claims and litigation involving the past code enforcement cases in which these fines and fees were issued.

The District Attorney's Office recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the settlement agreement and authorize the County Manager to sign the settlement agreement on behalf of Clark County.
