BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605721-20, for Rainbow Boulevard - Landberg Avenue to Gary Avenue was advertised on October 19, 2020 and opened on November 16. 2020. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

The work to be performed under this contract consists of full depth reconstruction and widening of Rainbow Boulevard from Landberg Avenue to Gary Avenue. Furthermore, this contract consists of pavement, type II aggregate, UTACS, milling, full depth median island, sidewalk, curb & gutter, adjustment of manholes and valves, utility relocations, removing and replacing pavement markings, street lights, ITS conduit, reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), reinforced concrete box (RCB), riprap, headwalls, drop inlets, traffic signs, barrier rail, railroad crossing, and other related items of work within the unincorporated area of Clark County, Nevada
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 75 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
