BACKGROUND:
On August 21, 2020, State of Minnesota awarded Sourcewell Master Contract No. 060920-KTC Class 4-8 Chassis with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services to Kenworth Truck Company (LBE) distributed through the local dealer Kenworth Sales Company (NBE). This approval provides for the purchase of Kenworth Class 4-8 Chassis with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval:
• The term of the Contract being utilized is from August 24, 2020 through August 1, 2024 and includes the option to renew for 1, one-year period.
• Clark County is not under exclusive contract with Kenworth Truck Company and therefore, can cease purchasing product at any time.
This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (b) the State of Nevada or another state with the authorization of the contracting vendor.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
