BACKGROUND:

The improvement plans for Clark County's Silverado Ranch Detention Basin and Outfall Facilities project (Project No. FCLA08S) include a proposed 8-foot by 6-foot reinforced concrete box storm drain which brings stormwater into the proposed detention basin.  A portion of this reinforced concrete box storm drain, located within the intersection of Ullom Drive and Le Baron Avenue, falls within an easement obtained in 1965 by Valley Electric Association, Inc. ("VEA") for its overhead power transmission lines.

The attached easement use agreement provides for coordination and the stipulated terms and covenants agreed upon between the County and VEA for construction and maintenance of the portion of the County's proposed storm drain located within the VEA easement area.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the agreement as to form.
