BACKGROUND:

Clark County Wetlands Park has partnered with the Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF) to conduct fuel reduction projects within the park.   NDF has secured funding from the US Forest Service for NDF Conservation Camp labor for fuel reduction projects.  County will direct work and may provide supplies such chipper and dumpsters as needed to support the project.  No financial commitment is required by County.  NDF requires a Right of Entry Agreement for use of NDF Conservation Camp labor on County property.  NDF Conservation Camp labor crews have been used by Clark County previously as well as numerous government entities in the state including City of Henderson, Southern Nevada Water Authority.
