Agenda note: SPEAKER(S): Present DISCUSSION: Commissioner Michael Naft declared that the events that occurred on January 6, 2021 at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. was not reflective of the values of Clark County, Nevada. Following the introduction of the item, the Board received a presentation from Anti-Defamation League representatives Jolie Brislin, Nevada Regional Director, and Sam Schaul, Regional Board Chairman, who expressed appreciation to the Board for the proclamation against hate and extremism, commented on the mission of the organization, and also shared some of the challenges that were faced within the community.
