BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605706-20, for Southwest Ridge Park & Trailhead was advertised on October 20, 2020 and opened on December 3, 2020. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

* The Bid received from Wadley Construction, Inc. is recommended for rejection for failure to submit the correct Bidder's Statement of Authority to Submit Bid and Bid Bond.
This Contract is for the construction of approximately 11 acres of park and trailhead and to develop a nature play park, picnic area, and trailhead with parking, restrooms, shade structures, and interpretive signage, adjacent to the Clark County Southwest Ridge Recreation Area.
Additive Alternate No. 1 is to install one (1) shade structure over 2-5 playground.
Additive Alternate No. 2 is to install one (1) shade cover over 5-12 playground.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 420 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Baldwin Demolition currently holds a Clark County Business License.
