BACKGROUND:
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) wants to purchase and install new spectator bleachers at 4350 University Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV commonly known as the UNLV Myron Partridge Stadium/Sheila Tarr Track located on Assessor's Parcel Numbers 162-22-105-001 & 162-22-203-001.
Clark County (County) and UNLV desire to enter into an Interlocal Agreement to purchase and install new spectator bleachers whereby the County shall allocate funds not to exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000). UNLV shall manage the project and the County shall reimburse UNLV up to the allocated not to exceed amount. This Interlocal was presented and approved at the December 15, 2020, BCC meeting, but before UNLV could approve the Interlocal, the parties desire to extend the completion date from June 30, 2022 to September 30, 2022 and provide clarification regarding public use in Article III(1) of the Interlocal.
