Valley Electric Association would continue to remit fees collected from its customers in Clark County based on 5% of revenue pursuant to Chapter 6.13 of the Clark County Code.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On April 20, 2021, the Board held a public hearing to receive comments or objections from the public regarding the application filed by Valley Electric Association, Inc. for an electrical system from the County. No comments or objections were received or presented at the Board meeting.

The Board is requested to hold a public hearing to consider awarding an electrical system franchise to provide electrical services within unincorporated areas of Clark County and to approve the franchise agreement with Valley Electric Association, Inc.
