BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605745-20, for Silverado Ranch Detention Basin & Outfall Facilities & Silverado Ranch Boulevard from Arville Street to Dean Martin Drive (Phase B) was advertised on December 10, 2020 and opened on March 30, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction of a 294 acre-ft detention basin with two inflow storm drains, both consisting of large reinforced concrete boxes, and a concrete reinforced box outfall storm drain that transitions to a concrete lined open channel. This contract will also construct widening of Silverado Ranch Boulevard from Arville Street to Dean Martin Drive. Roadway improvements include milling, hot mix asphalt and Ultra-Thin Asphalt Concrete Surface (UTACS). Improvements also include striping, signing, drop inlets, storm drain laterals, streetlights, sidewalk, ITS conduit, raised medians, and related appurtenances.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 372 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
William Charles, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
