The FAA Airport Improvement Project grant fund is anticipated to cover the eligible construction costs for 100% of Base Bid and 93.75% of Additive Alternates A, B, and C. Municipal funds are anticipated to cover 100% of Alternate D. |
BACKGROUND:
The Project at Henderson Executive Airport will extend the pavement of the northwest apron to the west and relocate a portion of Jet Stream Drive roadway. New asphalt pavement for the apron extension will be placed along with new storm drain piping, high mast lighting, electrical duct-banks, airfield lighting, security fencing, and the retrofit/relocation of existing utilities.
