BACKGROUND:

This project, Special Improvement District No. 114B - Las Vegas Boulevard South Strip Maintenance, provides for the maintenance of the landscape improvements along Las Vegas Boulevard South between Mandalay Bay Road and Russell Road.  The cost for this maintenance is paid for by special assessments levied against benefitted lots.

On May 18, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners introduced the ordinance levying the assessments against the properties, and also conducted a public hearing for complaints, protests, and objections with respect to the assessment roll of which none, written nor oral, was received.  The Board also approved and adopted a resolution confirming the assessment roll.  This is the time set for the public hearing for adoption of the ordinance.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the ordinance as to form.
