BACKGROUND: 

On April 18, 2017, the Clark County Board of County Commissioners approved Agenda Item 42, authorizing the
Eighth Judicial District Court Fiscal Services Department to accept individual monetary donations not to exceed
$5,000 and personal property donations not to exceed $2,500 on behalf of Specialty Courts without prior BCC
approval. In compliance with the approved agenda item, the Eighth Judicial District Court Fiscal Services
Department is providing a report of all donations accepted by the Eighth Judicial District Court Fiscal Services
Department FBO Specialty Courts. Per the resolution, the report below includes the cash amount, the name of the
donor unless anonymous, and the designated purpose. No individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in
personal property or $5,000 in cash was accepted.
