BACKGROUND:

Vegetation management is an important component of land management of the 2,900-acre Wetlands Park.  The purpose of this Agreement is to allow the National Park Service (NPS) Exotic Plant Management Team to inventory and treat non-native and noxious weeds, conduct restoration, and provide for long term restoration management goals in the Park.  This project is a continuation of an existing Agreement, approved by the BCC September 5, 2017, and to be executed consecutively to provide for continued service.

Project work will be split between 1) In Lieu Fee Wetlands Mitigation Area, and; 2) greater Wetlands Park area.  Both projects encompass overlapping services and collectively occur under a single scope of work to achieve a favorable economy of scale for services by the NPS.
