BACKGROUND:
On April 16, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners awarded $37,121 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program funds to St. Jude's Ranch for Children for the New Crossings Homeless Youth Families program. The proposed additional funds in the amount of $20,286.32 will bring their total award amount to $57,407.32. This amendment will allow for program expansion to cover homeless individuals as well as homeless families. These funds are being reallocated from organizations unable to fully expend their awards and will allow Clark County to spend its award prior to federal expiration. The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this amendment as to form.
