BACKGROUND:

On July 12, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Arterial Reconstruction Program:  Clark County Maintenance Fiscal Year 2019 project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

The Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1021 on August 7, 2018, to provide funds for engineering for the subject project.  The Board approved Supplemental Nos. 1 through 5 to this contract to increase total funds for engineering and to cover County internal labor costs and right-of-way costs for Jones Boulevard between Tropicana Avenue and Clark County 215.

The attached Supplemental No. 6 to this interlocal contract will increase total funds to cover additional in-house labor costs.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on May 20, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
