BACKGROUND: 

Pursuant to NRS 237.090, a Business Impact Statement was prepared for the proposed ordinance to incrementally increase the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center CFC to a maximum authorized rate.

On April 17, 2021, the Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) sent notifications to the 10 companies and individuals impacted by this amendment. In addition, a copy of the notification and proposed ordinance changes were posted on the McCarran.com website. A 15 day public comment period was opened and the DOA did not receive any questions or comments. 

Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners determine that the ordinance described above does not impose a significant economic burden upon the on-airport car rental companies.
