BACKGROUND:

Walker Landscaping Maintenance, LLC (Walker) desires to install multiple 20'-22' tall palm trees in the rear yard of a residential project that is located adjacent to Clark County (County) owned parcels 163-29-601-001 and 163-29-601-009. Due to the existing surrounding improvements and the size of the palm trees, a crane is needed to lift the palm trees into place. The only viable access to the rear yard that is large enough for a crane is the County parcels behind the project. A Revocable License Agreement (License) will be needed to allow Walker to stage vehicles, a crane and materials on County property within the licensed area of approximately 2.40 acres for a maximum period of 14 days. The license fee amount is $3,169.29. The License requires Walker to indemnify the County against all liability arising from any injury or damage caused by Walker or its agents and for failure to comply with the License.
