BACKGROUND: 

On June 2, 2021, Clark County and the Clark County Defender's Union (CCDU) reached a tentative agreement for a fiscal reopener for the current collective bargaining agreement. The CCDU membership voted and ratified the agreement on June 3, 2021.

Of the entire agreement, two (2) articles were amended.

Attachment I contains the summary of changes.

Attachment II contains the proposed article including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/capitalized and deleted language stricken.

Attachment III is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.

Attachment IV is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreement for one hundred forty (140) impacted CCDU positions.
