BACKGROUND: 

On May 27, 2021, Clark County and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) reached a tentative agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2021. The IAFF membership have voted and ratified the agreement on June 9, 2021. 

Of the entire agreement, six (6) articles were amended.

Attachment I contains the summary of changes.

Attachment II contains the proposed entire agreement including changed and new language in its entirety. With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.

Attachment III contains the proposed Rules and Regulations including changed and new language in its entirety.  With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.

Attachment IV is the IAFF Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines, by article, which  elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in fiscal impact.

Attachment V is the IAFF Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total and annual cost and/or savings of the new agreement for seven hundred and seven hundred and forty-six (746) impacted IAFF positions.
