Additional Comments:

The total Contract award is estimated in the amount of $5,066,261.85 should all allowable maximum quantities be purchased, including possible price increases.

 

BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 605854-21, for Current Production Model Mid-Size Hybrid SUV Front Wheel Drive was advertised on May 17, 2021 and opened on June 2, 2021.  The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the purchase of current production model mid-size hybrid SUV for the Clark County Fleet.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
•                     The term of the Contract is from date of award through May 31, 2026, or until the maximum quantities                      have been reached, whichever occurs first.
•                     Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible model year price increases.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                                           advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Silver State Ford dba Gaudin Ford currently holds a Clark County Business License.
