BACKGROUND: 

The term of the grant, if awarded, will be from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. The State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety is allowing Las Vegas Justice Court to apply for $3,988 in United States Department of Transportation pass-through Limited Fixed Deliverables grant funding for travel (airfare, lodging, ground transportation, airport parking, and per diem).

The funding will permit one Court Division Administrator and one DUI Treatment Court program Specialty Courts Coordinator travel to attend the annual National Association of Drug Court Professionals RISE21 conference in Washington, D.C. August 15-18, 2021 for cutting-edge sessions on critical substance abuse treatment court topics and networking with colleagues from across the globe. Attached hereto is the application for assistance.
