BACKGROUND: 

Prosecution LVMPD Event Nos. 201000125528 and 20110006394 involves Defendant, Slade Dias.  Slade Dias is the son of an employee with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.  Slade Dias has been charged with Violation of Temporary Protective Order.

Prosecution Case No. 21CR002934 involves Defendant, Kevin Howard.  Kevin Howard is the nephew of an employee with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.  Kevin Howard has been charged with Sexual Assault.

Prosecution Case No. 20CR033239 involves Defendant, Dennis Gonzalez.  An employee of the Clark County District Attorney's Office is the victim.  Dennis Gonzalez has been charged with Battery with a Deadly Weapon Constituting Domestic Violence and Felony Coercion. 

Prosecution Case No. 20FN0074X involves Defendant, Dennis Gonzalez.  An employee of the Clark County District Attorney's Office is the victim.  Dennis Gonzalez has been charged with Felony Coercion and Battery Constituting Domestic Violence (Felony).

To avoid the appearance of impropriety, the Attorney General’s Office has been asked to handle the prosecution of these matters.
