BACKGROUND: 

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is accepting applications for the FY2021 FEMA Readiness Cooperative Agreement. The grant application submission deadline is July 15, 2021. The grant totaling in the amount of $1,336,878 will support the existing program, if awarded to the Clark County Fire Department / NV Task Force (NVTF-1).

This award will provide funding to deployment readiness of the Task Force in support of FEMA emergency response operations during the grant performance period of thirty-six (36) months from the date the grant is awarded.  The application includes amount breakdowns of $604,434 for Task Force staffing, management, and administration; $172,290 for training; $272,286 for equipment acquisition and maintenance; and $287,868 for storage.
