BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605822-21, for Clark Place - Central Plant Upgrades was advertised on March 31, 2021 and opened on May 25, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract consists of upgrades to the central plant. Construction includes all administrative work, demolition and installation of new central plant equipment, including chillers, cooling tower, pumps, heat exchanger, expansion tank, chemical treatment system, ice storage system, and associated piping. Additionally, a temporary chiller will be provided to maintain cooling to the building per phasing plan and construction documents. New equipment will be connected to existing controls system, architectural, plumbing, electrical and structural modifications to support equipment replacements.
Additive Alternate No. 1 is for the demolition of existing concrete pads, two (2) chillers and eight (8) pumps, pour new slab at existing locations to maintain existing slab grade.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Monument Construction currently holds a Clark County Business License.
