BACKGROUND:
On June 18, 2002, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with The Louis Berger Group, Inc. for roadway improvements on the Paradise Road between Harmon Avenue and Desert Inn Road project. Effective January 1, 2020, the merger of Louis Berger US, Inc./The Louis Berger Group, Inc. ("Louis Berger") and WSP USA, Inc. was completed, and Louis Berger personnel became WSP employees.
The Board approved Supplemental Nos. 1 through 7, between August 5, 2003 and December 17, 2019, for additional engineering services and time of performance extensions for the subject project.
The attached Supplemental No. 8 to the professional engineering services contract with WSP USA, Inc. will increase total funds for final design services for Corporate Drive to Sands Avenue and Harmon Avenue to Sands Avenue. This work will be part of Phase 3B for this project. The time of performance remains extended to December 31, 2023.
WSP USA, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
