The County will receive 50% of the net revenue from this lease, which will be distributed under the terms of the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act of 1998 (SNPLMA).

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 21, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Lease Option Agreement (Lease Option) between Clark County (County) and Beltway Business Park, L.L.C. (Beltway) for the development, construction, operation, and sublease of commercial facilities on ±298 acres of County-owned land in the Cooperative Management Area.  Beltway has entered into seventeen (17) leases under the Lease Option.  The current request is to enter into the eighteenth (18th) lease under the Lease Option. 

This item was presented to the County Long Range Planning Committee on October 27, 2020.
