BACKGROUND: 

On June 1, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners declared that the Clark County Redevelopment Agency needed to function and approved a resolution to unsuspend the agency in accordance with NRS279.436.  During the 2021 legislative session Clark County government affairs was able to work with legislators to adopt changes to NRS 279 that allow the agency to function similar to its municipal counterparts.
