The total Agreement award is estimated in the amount of $1,400,000 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for Clark County Social Service (CCSS) to keep and/or place eligible residents with Providers of Nursing Home Services.  Providers will provide for skilled and/or intermediate levels of care including nursing, physician, and related services as directed by a physician, on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, for medically indigent persons as identified by CCSS.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023 and includes the option to renew                      for 1, two-year period.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180, the parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
