BACKGROUND:
On April 6, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605760-20 to National Park Service in the amount of $320,000 to conduct inventory and weed treatment of non-native vegetation on the Clark County Desert Conservation Program's Muddy and Virgin River Properties.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement was from date of award through January 26, 2023 and included the option to renew for 1, two-year period. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for an extension of the initial Agreement term through July 15, 2023, which will also extend the renewal term through July 15, 2025, and replace Appendix 1 - Milestone/Deliverable/Invoicing Schedule Table. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
