BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605826-21, for Sierra Vista Improvements was advertised on May 27, 2021 and opened on July 27, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the full rehabilitation of roadway improvements that consist of the following: remove and replace existing asphalt pavement or mill and overlay along Sierra Vista from Paradise Road to Maryland Parkway. Other improvements consist of bringing curb returns and sidewalk ramps up to ADA Standards, installation of sidewalk, driveways, curb, gutter, spandrels/gross gutters where indicated, installation of new traffic signals at the corner of Sierra Vista and University Center Drive, adjustments of manholes and water valves among other appurtenances, removing and replacing pavement markings, striping and traffic signs, traffic loops, installation of conduit, pull boxes, trenching for conduit and other related items of work within the project limits.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 120 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Aggregate Industries-SWR, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
