BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605862-21, for Annual Requirements Contract for Beltway Sign Maintenance was advertised on July 7, 2021 and opened on August 2, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

Highway Striping and Signs LLC (NBE) $585,775.00
Nevada Barricade & Sign Co., Inc. (WBE) $677,859.25
Las Vegas Paving Corporation (NBE) $1,721,308.56
This Contract is to supplement and assist in the work currently being performed by Clark County Public Works.
This work consists of modification, installations, and maintenance of all signs on the beltway.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through June 30, 2022 and includes the option to renew for 4, one-year periods.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Highway Striping and Signs LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
