BACKGROUND:
On February 20, 2018, State of Minnesota awarded Sourcewell Contract No. 122017-FSC-1 Elgin Street Sweeper Equipment with Related Accessories, Supplies, and Services to Federal Signal Corp. (LBE) distributed through the local distributor Haaker Equipment. This approval provides for the purchase of Elgin Street Sweeper Equipment with Related Accessories, Supplies, and Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval: • The term of the Contract being utilized is from February 20, 2018 through February 20, 2022 and includes the option to renew for 1, one-year period. • Clark County is not under exclusive contract with Federal Signal Corp. and therefore, can cease purchasing products and services at any time.
This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (b) the State of Nevada or another state with the authorization of the contracting vendor.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
