BACKGROUND:
On January 7, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional service providers for the period January 7, 2019 through December 31, 2020. On December 1, 2020, the Board approved a one-year extension of this list through December 31, 2021. Wallace Morris Kline Surveying LLC (Limited Liability Company) was selected from the pre-qualification list, [Service] Surveying - Construction Staking - Minor, to provide construction land surveying services for the Silverado Ranch Boulevard between Jones Boulevard and Arville Street (Phase A) project (Bid No. 605750-20).
County staff negotiated the attached professional services contract with Wallace Morris Kline Surveying LLC. The contract describes the services to be provided and stipulated terms. The time of performance is effective to March 15, 2023, unless time extensions are granted. Wallace Morris Kline Surveying LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
