BACKGROUND: 

Monday's Dark is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses event space to host and coordinate variety shows and live events for the purpose of generating funds for other non-profit and charitable organizations in Southern Nevada.

Monday's Dark has approached the County requesting to lease ±1.2 acres of vacant land known as Assessor's Parcel Number 162-20-212-005 located on the northwest corner of Harmon Avenue & Polaris Avenue to construct a community event/performing arts center serving as an events space to host bi-monthly variety shows coordinated by Monday's Dark where money is raised to generate $10,000 in donations for a selected location charity. The center shall also be used to provide performance arts education to CCSD students and provide necessary support services to the entertainment community.
