Agenda note: STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Jared Tasko, Principal Planner, presented the application and stated the conditions are as listed on the agenda. The applicant spoke on the matter and Jeffery Jacquet with the Department of Aviation also spoke on the matter. Mr. Jacquet stated that although they do not oppose the application, they believe the County should retain the 300 foot right-of-way width specifically for future planning of the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport. He also stated that there are many uncertainties with exactly what will be needed to accommodate future transit and utility needs for the airport and that reducing the right-of-way width within this corridor will reduce the flexibility to address unknown planning needs for the airport.
