BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 605872-21, for Improvement Plans for Vegas Valley at Tree Line and Traffic Signal Improvements at Various Locations #103B was advertised on June 24, 2021 and opened on August 5, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the installation of traffic systems at Craig Road and Salmon Drive, Desert Inn Road and Topaz Street, Desert Inn Road and Mountain Vista Street and Tree Line Drive and Vegas Valley Drive. Other project improvements include sidewalk ramp reconstruction and pavement rehab to install new loop detectors.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 120 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
