The initial Contract amount was $1,446,477.88 annually. Amendment No. 1 will increase the annual Contract amount by $682,100.34, for a new annual Contract amount of $2,128,578.22 and a new total Contract amount of $9,960,760.76 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On October 15, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFQ No. 605240-19 to Charleston Residential Services LLC dba CrossRoads of Southern Nevada (NBE) in the amount of $1,446,477.88 annually to provide for the expansion of crisis stabilization resources, housing options, and support for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and have substance abuse disorders and/or mental health disorders to initiate and sustain recovery in a continuity of care model.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2020 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 3 renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for a continuation of crisis stabilization services which includes increased capacity due to the ongoing pandemic. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Charleston Residential Services LLC dba CrossRoads of Southern Nevada currently holds a Clark County Business License.
