BACKGROUND:

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1227 for the Sunset Road between Rainbow Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds.

On October 6, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1227 with RTC for this project.  The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract increases total funds and revises the scope of the design to extend the limits on Sunset Road to the west from Rainbow Boulevard to Durango Drive.

The requested additional funds for this project are budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on August 12, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
