Supplemental No. 2 increase of $15,000 revises the total contract value to $765,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Starr Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Bermuda Road project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds.

On October 6, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1225 with RTC to provide funds for engineering.  Supplemental No. 1 was approved by RTC and the Board in April and May 2021, respectively, to increase total funds to cover the County's right-of-way costs.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to this interlocal contract will increase total funds to cover additional right-of-way costs for this project.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on August 12, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
