BACKGROUND:

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) entered into a maintenance interlocal agreement with the Clark County Department of Public Works (CCPW) on September 20, 1983, to establish jurisdictional boundaries.  The attached Interlocal Agreement No. P464-21-101 is to establish roles and responsibilities for ownership, maintenance, operation, and repair of designated pedestrian flashing signals and all related equipment along State-maintained highways and routes to which CCPW agrees to maintain and operate.  NDOT agrees to provide maintenance costs as described in the interlocal agreement.

The pedestrian flashing signal locations are identified in Exbibit "A" of the subject and attached interlocal agreement.

NDOT has reviewed and agreed to the interlocal agreement.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal agreement as to form.
