The initial Contract amount was $9,118,816.14, Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract amount by $50,000, Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $446,850, for a new total Contract amount of $9,615,666.14 should all renewal options be exercised, with increased user requirements included. |
BACKGROUND:
On August 20, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605337-19 to Bitfocus, Inc. (SBE) in the amount of $9,118,816.14 to provide services, software license, maintenance, support, training and development of data from all homeless service providers in the community to capture basic description information on every homeless person serviced and develop community-specific Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) training programs to support the homeless service providers utilizing HMIS.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from August 20, 2019 through August 19, 2020 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 2 renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 provided an increase for enrollment, inventory of services and reporting capabilities for services that were developed in response to COVID-19.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will add multiple scopes of work to the HMIS system to meet the needs for those affected by COVID-19. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Bitfocus, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
