BACKGROUND:

On October 2, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for design engineering services and to provide an Alternatives Evaluation Report for the Duck Creek - Blue Diamond Wash between Bermuda Road and Las Vegas Boulevard project.

Supplemental No. 1 to the professional services contract was previously approved by the Board to extend the contract term to complete the storm drain improvements.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the professional services contract with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. increases total funds for final design of the recommended alternative alignment for the project's storm drain facilities, and extends the time of performance to June 30, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.

Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
