BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605976-21, for Various Current Production Model Vehicles was advertised on September 13, 2021 and opened on September 27, 2021. A detailed Bid Summary is attached.
This Contract is for the purchase of various current production model vehicles for the Clark County Fleet.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through September 30, 2026, or until the maximum quantities have been reached, whichever occurs first.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible model year price increases.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort as the vehicles are dropped shipped. However, Silver State Ford dba Gaudin Ford does have a dealership located in unincorporated Clark County and holds a Clark County Business License.
