BACKGROUND:
On August 15, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 604349-17 to Bob Barker Company, Inc. (LBE) for Packages 1, 2, 3, and 8; Victory Supply (LBE) for Packages 4, 5, and 7; and Tabb Textiles Co, Inc. (LBE) for Package 6 in the amount of $1,862,440.59 to provide inmate clothing and accessories.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contracts:
• The term of the Contracts were from August 15, 2017 through June 30, 2018 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contracts with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add a Drastic Market Conditions clause to the Contracts. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
