BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605874-21, for Decatur Boulevard Rehabilitation from CC-215 to Tropicana Avenue and Roadway Improvements to Sobb Avenue and Cameron Street was advertised on July 19, 2021 and opened on September 2, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for improvements to Decatur Boulevard from CC-215 to Tropicana Avenue in Clark County, Nevada. The work will generally consist of improvements including sidewalk ramp reconstruction for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards, traffic signal modifications, detector loop installation at signalized intersections, installation of an emergency signal on Decatur at Oquendo Road, utility adjustments, cold planing, removal and replacement of base material in areas, removal and replacement of plantmix bituminous surface in areas, roadway widening, UTACS, permanent striping and signing, the addition of median islands, removing and replacing damaged sidewalk and curb and gutter, ITS conduit, fiber optic cable, splicing, and pull boxes, LED luminaires, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project. The project will also include roadway improvements on Sobb Avenue and Cameron Street including installation of plantmix bituminous surface, L type curb and gutter, and drainage improvements.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
